Carp Cottage

  After having some success (but not much) at various street festivals and arts and crafts fairs, I decided to look into exhibiting some of my fine art pieces at art galleries. About a month ago, my wife and I took a trip to Millville, NJ on a Saturday morning to visit a few galleries at the Glasstown Arts District. I talked to one gallery owner and told her about my art and how I was looking for an outlet. She was very interested in my work, and asked me to return with my portfolio. I did return and she was impressed enough to offer me the opportunity to do a solo show at a small gallery that she owns and rents out for limited engagements.
  So, I will be exhibiting my art there in a few weeks.
  I'm very excited, but also very nervous. I hope the show is a success. I'm new at all of this, but I suppose this will be a chance to learn a few of the ropes of the art business.

 Dates: Feb 17-20, 2011
Hours: Thur, Sat, Sun 12-6 pm
           Fri, Reception from 6-9 pm
