2014 Highlights



2014


It's that time of year again.
Time to look back at the past year and hit some of the highlights.

January and February were spent shoveling snow.

Things got going in March when I was asked to create the trophies for

In April I was the featured artist at An Octopus Garden 
for Earth Day Weekend.

Also in April I as part of the For the Birds exhibit at

In May it was the Perkins Center for the Arts annual
members show.

Also in May was the RRCA Hot Stuff show.

June saw the Grand Opening of the Media Arts Council 
new home and Art Gallery

That brings us to July
In July I had my big show of the year.
It was my first solo show at Annex 24 Gallery

This is where I premiered my Untooled collection.
This is a series of sculptures designed to showcase the beauty and artistry
inherent in the vintage tools of past generations.

 In September, The Alfred I. duPont/Nemours Children's Hospital opened
their new facility in Wilmington, DE.
Throughout the entire facility is art designed to appeal to children and
make their stay there maybe just a little bit brighter.
I was pleased to donate three pieces of art for this mission.

October was the fifth anniversary on An Octopus's Garden in Millville.
The occasion was celebrated with an art exhibit titled  Under the Sea.
I was happy to enter two pieces in the show.

November brought the Winter Festival of Art at The Frame Station Gallery 
in Berwyn, PA
I was happy to sell two pieces in the show.

The year ended with two holiday art sales: 
Artful Giving at RRCA
and
Winter Expo at Annex 24
