Father's Day Fish

Whether it be 

lazy days at the old fishing hole

or sitting in the theater watching The Perfect Storm,

we all have memories of fishing.

Fishing is deeply ingrained in the American vernacular.

We speak of the one that got away,

other fish in the sea,

hook, line, and sinker,

it was THIS big.

As Father's Day nears, 

An everlasting fish would make the perfect gift for

Dad, Grandpa, Uncle, Brother, or

any other fisherman in your life.

And don't forget, 

it's fine to treat yourself occasionally

HELPLESS

This piece embraces the feeling that 

Mother Nature or a higher power has us helplessly bound

while she exacts vengeance for our 

reckless disregard of what was 

given to us in trust.

My Abstract Autumn

Throughout this year 

I was fortunate

to collect a treasure trove of material.

Some of it was quite large

and a good amount was just small washers, balls, 

and other odds and ends.

I had a busy spring and summer,

but once autumn arrived I found the time to relax 

and play with my new shapes.

These are a few of the resulting pieces.

Metalheads

I am proud to be part of this exhibit with these fine sculptors.

We all work with metal, 

however our styles vary immensely. 

This show runs October 1 - 31, 2019.
