Rescheduled Show

The "I Heart Art" art show that was originally
scheduled for August 27th, will take place this
Saturday, October 29, 2011. There will be many diverse artists on hand to show their work.
They will be available to talk with and to discuss their art.



Also from 7:30- 8:30, SHE LOVES ME will
be providing live music. Along with some wine
and cheese, this promises to be an exciting

evening of music, wine, and beautiful art.


I will have several new pieces with me. The
newest of which is pictured to the right. It
has not been titled yet.

  The opening of the "Celebrate a New Gallery"
art show in Mays Landing, NJ  was Saturday
night, Oct. 8th. It was well a attended event
that featured many exciting works from
artists from across South Jersey. Among the
genres represented were paintings, drawings,
collages, mixed media, sculpture and pottery.




There were several awards presented, and my
piece 'Intellect' was awarded the Gallery Director
Award.

I'm happy that my piece was chosen, considering
the caliber of the competition.

There were only to be four awards given out, but
the judge was so impressed with the quality of the
artworks, that there were four Merit awards also
presented.

The show runs until Oct. 29, 2011.

"Celebrate a New Gallery"

 On Saturday, October 8, 2011, Monteiro Art Studio
and La Bottega Gallery will present a new and exciting
art show, Celebrate a New Gallery. This show will
feature artworks from many different artists and genres,
including painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, and
mixed media.


The show will be presented at Montiero Art Studio,

which is located in beautiful Mays Landing, NJ.




I will have the two pieces pictured entered in the
show. There will be several awards presented,
including a People's Choice Award, which will
be decided by those attending the opening. If you
attend  I would like to ask for your support in
the award voting.



The opening reception will be Saturday, October 8, 2011
6:00 - 9:00 pm. This will be a wine and cheese reception.

All are invited and encouraged to bring a friend. All artwork
on display will be for sale.

The show is free and open to the public.
